i know flair wanted his last match against hbk but hbk vs batista should have been at wm24.
to the person below…the storyline could be still raw vs smackdown. it makes sense because both are the premiere guys in their brands. Then this could have been the rematch at backlash.

Yep that was an entertaining well-worked match full of action.I thought Y2J might have interfered in it, but he called it down the middle and did a good job.It was well worthy of being put on WM24 ( but not as a replacement for Ric vs HBK )and i think it’s one of Batista’s best performances in quite some time.It was a cool twist, Shawn selling the knee injury to hit the Sweet chin music from out of nowhere to win.

This is how I would want it to happen: After HBK picks up wins for DX, HHH feels he’s the weak link, then at RR HBK eliminates HHH. HHH gets pi$$ed and goes in and eliminates HBK and the 2 brawl outside the ring, the rivalry continues up to wrestlemania and after WM. How would yo do it?

DX wins Bragging rights.
They win tag titles
They win survivor series with hbk as soul survivor
They lose titles to any tag team.

They fight in elimination Chamber. HBK eliminates HHH and wins.
Royal Rumble comes and HHH intervenes in HBK vs WHC in match.
Vince announces HBK vs HHH on Raw. HHH wins and receives a title shot on next weeks raw. HBK intervnes.
These two end up brawling back and forth. It is later announced for WM26 HBK vs HHH vs WHC. WHC gets injured causing the title to become vacant. Then WM26, HBK vs HHH in an iron man match.

i was so sad and i was about to cry but when hhh came out with the dx glowsticks, i was crying so hard because i’m really going to miss dx and hbk. after years of watching hbk it’s going to be hard not seeing him anymore but i’ll get over it. im happy that he’s going to spend more time with his family.

bq: do you think it’s pathetic to cry over a wrestler?

My heart broke.
On Sunday i cried during the whole Shawn Michaels vs Undertaker match…i really believed Shawn would win…and than when Taker pinned him i felt like i had just been stabbed right in my heart.
It killed me last night seeing him last night standing in that ring crying. When he was coming down to the ring i got out of my seat and got on the floor and just started bowing to him. I just cried and cried and what was really funny though was when Shawn said "Ladies and Gentlemen The HeartBreak Kid Shawn Michaels.." and than i said "Has left the building." right before he said it. Which i thought was cool haha because that’s how good i know Shawn. He is my favorite wrestler, was my favorite wrestler, and will always be my favorite wrestler.

bq: My mom and dad sure thought it was because they were like "Goshh shut the **** up he’s just a wrestler but he’s not just a wrestler to me. He is my hero, idol, role model, and savior. I’ve always believed in Jesus but before i read Shawn Michaels book i never thought about Jesus. After reading Shawn’s book i accepted Jesus as my lord and savior and now i try to live my life the way Jesus wants me to and i will proudly stand up in front of the world and say that I’m a Christian. After reading Shawns book i got a real sliver cross ring which i never take off. So you see Shawn isn’t just a wrestler to me…he is much more…he is my 2nd savior…after Jesus of course :]

A lot of people says WM 25 was the worst WM of all time beside Taker vs HBK match. I don’t know why cuz I didn’t get to see it though.

You have to watch Taker vs HBK at WM 25, bro. It was a once in a lifetime experience. Either way, Wrestlemania 25 s*cked because:

1. A MALE won Divas battle royal. This was the biggest cluster(bleep) I’ve ever seen. This made the Gimmick Battle Royal look like a masterpiece. No ring announcements. After all of the talk and build up, zero explanation of which past divas were even in the match. Piss poor announcing…no acknowledge of who was there, who was eliminated, who was in, etc. There were no wrestling moves. The fact that they pretended to not know it was Santino was beyond idiotic. How do you mess up a match with a ton of hot girls? This was so awful that it should be a fireable offense. A complete and utter mockery. And yes, this match was worse than Taker vs Giant Gonzales.

2. Twenty one seconds retirement match. While I wasn’t particularly impressed with the booking, how could this match really make me want to swear off wrestling? I don’t like JBL as a person or a performer and I’m glad he’s gone. Plus, it was quick and painless. I seriously hope they give Rey Rey an actual feud and put some focus on this title, rather than have it fading away as usual. How about one of Priceless? As an aside, I thought JBL was very entertaining as an announcer and I would be more than happy for him to fill Tazz’s seat at the table. However, JBL is isn’t that isn’t the game plan. I wish I liked him enough to provide a JBL career retrospective here. Then again, he didn’t care enough to learn my name when I worked there, so I don’t much care about him either. Good riddance. I will say though, I don’t like how wwe always has people’s last matches be losses. Can’t they let them go out on a winning note?

3. Lanky brother vs brother match.

4. Sixty years old Steamboat outperforming Jericho. At this point, I was about ready to call it a night. This was even more awful than expected. There was no passion, no ring psychology, and the expected poor in ring quality. Once a match with Rourke was out of the question, this storyline has pretty much not made any sense since. Jericho has given some strong performances to do the best he could with it…but there wasn’t any logic behind it. Does the average wrestling fan care? Probably not. But as a more thoughtful/analytical fan, it bothered me. And it showed in the end. The Rourke spot was lame. Flair’s involvement was disappointing.

5. Worst MITB ever thanks to Mark Henry (First, he gave Taker one of Taker’s worst matches of all time at WM 22 and now this, this guy just couldn’t stop, huh?)

6. Boring Triple threat match for WWE title.

7. Lamest main event in the last 7 seven years. I didn’t feel much of anything about this match, which I suppose is not a good thing for the main event of your biggest event in the past 5 years. It was lacking a certain feeling of intensity and closure considering the personal nature of the buildup. I did like how they mixed things up by both hitting their finishers right off the get go…that kept me on my toes for the rest of the match. I dunno, maybe it’s because I’m older or something, but this just did not have that Hogan vs Warrior feel for me. It didn’t feel special. It felt standard. Fine, but not the mega end of a huge card. I would have liked an Orton victory, but I’m not surprised by the outcome.

8. Kid Rock concert which got bigger airtime than the tag titles match which was placed in the dark match. While I didn’t object to the concert as a concept, what I did object to is it’s placement on the card. Shouldn’t this have been at the midway point, like a halftime show? There is no logic to anything they do. We didn’t need a break at this point. Oh, I should give a shout out to the Pussycat Doll from earlier for having the tightest dress I’ve ever seen. Sure, the singing was bad, but it served its purpose.

at first i did not want this to happen. but it did. and i am kinda happy it will be a streak vs career match cause it adds more suspense, i mean if hbk looses he is gone and taker looses well he basically looses the biggest accomplishment he had. so ya it could be pretty good but im still not a fan of the match.

This is probably gonna be the most looked forward to match in my perspective at Wrestlemania, for the second year in a row. Undertaker’s 17-0 historic wrestlemania streak, against Shawn Micheals historic career. Usually this is a no brainer a.k.a obviously Taker will become 18-0 and the career of the Heartbreak Kid is done, but could this be the only way for WWE to end the streak? maybe it’s like what Vince considers Survivor Series and Bret Hart.. old and used up, .. this is where i get abit mad about these wrestling sites, all reporting shawn will take another 5-6 months off again.. In my mind reading that would mean it’s impossible for Shawn to lose this one, but yeah, I really don’t know about this one. my pick would be Shawn, because If anyone can beat the Undertaker on the grandest stage of them all, even though he didn’t do it last year, it’s still him, and the way it looks, there’s no possible way for him to lose, since he is gonna be wrestling at summerslam again this year. but anything can happen. also.. this Double Countout thing equals a draw right, would’nt that make Taker 17-0-1 at Wrestlemania, making his streak not perfect? that’s my only reason for thinking it would for sure involve a clean pinfall in this match, HBK getting DQ’ed would end his career also because it counts as a loss, so yeah, someone is gonna lose, and someone will win

For an action, there’s an equal reaction. I love it. It’s a match worth caring about, worth buying. There’s really something on the line here. This is a match with two legacies on the line. The vignette with Placebo was one of the very best I’ve seen on wrestling in a very long time. And there is a little bit of unpredictability. Most of all, it will be an amazing match, because knowing both wrestlers, they will give everything they have, even if it means being crippled for 6 months afterwards, to top the match they had last year…which was an instant classic.

Even more, it works both ways. Both of these guys are the most respected guys in the locker room today. Taker has been for over 10 years now. Both have the upmost respect for each other, even if they don’t really like each other too much, for their abilities and for doing business. Both have had so many classic bouts with each other over the years that their careers will be intertwined forever. If Taker were to have his streak snapped, he should do so by the one guy who can actually put on the best match with him, and that’s Shawn. If Shawn retires, he should be beat by the one guy in the company that has the stature to honorably retire him, and that’s Taker. Just like Shawn did to Ric Flair (nevermind Ric is now in TNA).

The office got this one right.

Now, who wins? Predicting this one makes me very, very sad. Shawn Michaels is maybe my second favorite wrestler of all time right after Undertaker, definitely among the top. I do not, in any way, want to see him retire. I would rather watch him do the DX thing for 5 more years than never see him again. Shawn in some form is better than no Shawn at all. And I’d lie to think that if Shawn was retiring, that’d he have more than a 5 week sendoff, ala Ric Flair and the multi-month buildup for his. And personally, Taker’s streak doesn’t mean that much to me. I like Taker, but I could care less about his streak. Six of those matches can be considered as the worst forms of wrestling, while Shawn’s matches are almost all classics. Not to mention Undertaker’s legacy isn’t just The Streak, although The Streak is indeed his claim to fame. I could argue Shawn was more worthy of having an undefeated streak at Wrestlemania. But I know I’m in the minority. I know it’s very important to a lot of people. I know it’s important to the legacy of Taker’s character. And my gut feeling is that I just can’t see the office, no matter how much influence HHH and HBK have, asking Taker to end his streak to anybody. I don’t think it will ever end, even if Taker’s last match ever was at Wrestlemania. It’s a streak that doesn’t ever have to end, something that will last forever. But Shawn, who can’t wrestle at the level he once did on wwe’s schedule, who’s in terrible shape with two ****** up knees and a ****** up back, who can’t ask HHH to give up another year of wrestling on top to support him doing the DX thing so he can work, now with his kids growing up and perhaps wanting to devote more of his time to his faith…those things I can totally buy.

I predict Shawn Michaels will lose and retire. And I might actually pay $60 to watch.

Just a little poll to see how many people want to see the undertaker win and how many people want to see the undertaker win.

Have you noticed that every third question in the wrestling section is about HBK vs Taker at WrestleMania, i guess this match is going to be the sellout match for WM

THE PHENOM
THE DEADMAN
THE UNDERTAKER
versus
THE ICON
THE HEADLINER
THE MAIN EVENT
MR. WRESTLEMANIA
THE SHOWSTOPPER
THE HEARTBREAK KID
SHAWN MICHAELS
..1…..2…….3 TUNG TUNG TUNG

AND HERE IS YOUR WINNER………………SHAWN MICHAELS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

HBK would be a great women’s champion.

yea sure
