Well its not that I hated it, i just didnt have any interest in it. In 2007/08, when my best friend got cable tv (foxtel here in australia), she would always be watching it when i came over…because she used to watch it as a kid. I’d be looking on but with mild interest, usually bored..But as time went on I showed more interest, and became more familiar with superstars and the storylines..It wasnt until around sep/oct 2009 where i really became a fan. Now i watch every episode/paperview/ect.

BQ: Chris jericho is the one that interested me the most. Now i watch mainly for him. But i still watch every ep.

I at first was interested thinking pro wresting was actually REAL wrestling. I soon found out it was just a scripted drama fest. I admire the physical talent, choreography, and production value, but there truly isn’t a real match.

The people who control the sport negotiate who will win the "fight" before it even starts. There is no -fight- in wrestling.

You want real fights watch boxing, martial arts, or MMA. No fancy costumes, no huge speakers, no trumped up drama, but real men actually trying to win. There is no winning in pro wrestling. It’s a popularity contest manipulated for maximum revenue.

Well i watched it a lil with my dad in the 90s but since i was little, my attention span was like 30 secs hahaha

I also tried to stay away from it as i got older cuz my dad told me it was fake so i thought "whats the point of watching it?’

Then when i was in 7th grade two of my friendst told me to watch an episode of smackdown. I watched it so they’d leave me alone and i was hooked. It was like a month or two before WM23. The first match i saw was lashley vs orton and kennedy in a table match. Which lashley won.

But i think either undertaker or batista got me to keep watching it. I didn’t watch Raw because it came on too late, but i saw my first Raw a month after WM and the first people i saw was cryme tyme They got me to watch Raw haha

Actually, I started to hate wrestling after watching it. I watched it for 3-4 years (2003-2007, somewhere there) and I was like a die hard fan. I even bought figures, magazines and those old episodes when Hogan and Ultimate Warrior were still there. After a while, I got tired of it ’cause I couldn’t see the entertainment anymore. Just wasn’t that entertained like I was…

My favorite wrestler when I was watching was also Hardy ’cause I like his daredevil mentality.

When I was a kid, the fact that I hated the word "fighting,'' I was obviously annoyed hearing the word "wrestling."It is easy to judge a show like a person especially if I only see pictures, words or part of the show. But everything changed when I saw the cruiserweight division though. I started liking Rey Mysterio, Super Crazy, London and Kendrick. But then I saw this guy named RVD so from that day onward, I became the most obsessed wrestling fan in my town. BQ: Rey Mysterio

I didnt really hate it at first, i just never really cared about it until i saw the one episode of smackdown before Armagedon, where it would be Edge vs Batista vs Undertaker. I wanted to see who was going to win. So on the next episode, i looked, and saw that edge won with 2 look alikes helping him. I thought it was cool, so i kept watching. Then.. I was fliping through channels looking for Raw, and when i did, it was the main event between Jeff Hardy and Randy Orton for the Intercontinental title, but in the end… Jeff Hardy hit a 30 foot swanton on Orton.. That really got me hooked to Wrestling. Then John Cena returned… but i didnt really want him to win the rumble… I really wanted Undertaker to win it 2 years in a row… and also, at the same time, CM Punk was ECW champion, until Chavo beat him for the title…

All those events happened arround the same time, and everyone i listed is the reason why i watch wrestling

I would have watched wrestling much sooner but it was hard to get too because I had no Sky Sports and no internet until 2004.
