Author: I know the guy’s do. But do Girls have to? Or should they. IDK What do they allow the girls to do?
No one is forced to get completely naked in high school wrestling… they let guys weigh in in underwear or shorts (unless they are using the clothing to try to go up weight classes). For girls, I have either seen them weigh in in their wrestling singlets, go to a different room to weigh, or go before the guys.

of course, they take them in a different room than the boys though, or do it before/after boys are in the room

when i was going to school there was only 1 girl on the team and they didnt make her strip but i cant speak on what goes on now and what other schools do but be happy your girl cuz when a guy is over his weight class limit they have to strip down completely naked to get an accrate weight reading

I’m sure weigh ins wearing a sports bra and some tights would be what they do for female weigh ins. I know there’s female MMA fights and I don’t recall seeing any of them being in their underwear for weigh ins..I only recall them with a sports bra, don’t remember what their bottoms were though..but they weren’t in their underwear.
